So, this time next week it's the start of those New Years Resolutions. The most common ones are to join a gym, to book a great holiday and to update the home. However right here in the heart of Keynsham is Keynsham Masonic Hall (KMH) which is also available to the community for hall bookings at an unbelievable rate. Built during WWII our hall has a massive car park. Room to seat 96 people around 12 round tables for those great events i.e. our annual Burns Nights or 129 people with sprig seating layout.
As a Freemason at at KMH, hall books are half price. What a fantastic incentive. We have our own bar, our own in house catering chef and team and the hall is very well lit in the summer and extremely warm in the winter. All modern accessible toilets as well and a big screen for presentations and disco's with music videos and more.
That new years resolution can be to join the Freemasons? Imagine an organisation with 200,000 members just in England and Wales alone and meeting in 1200 masonic halls including Covent Garden in London and where they hold London Fashion Week. An organisation where you join and the more you visit other lodges, with thousand of lodges lodges to choose from, the more new friends you make. Meals as good as restaurants, nights out with memories for life and just brilliant from the moment you join. People can join from aged 18 and every age enjoys every minute of their time in Freemasonry. Freemasons has an armed forces covenant as well, everyone is looked after.
Become a Freemason in 2026 at Keynsham Masonic Hall. Or Bath, or Bristol, or Chepstow, or Nailsea, or Downend. The list goes on and on.
Freemasonry gives more money to charities and good causes than almost everyone except the National Lottery and Children in Need. Freemasons in England and Wales give away £1m every week. That's just by members having a wonderful time, playing a raffle and helping others at the same time i.e. £5 for the raffle, 60 members play on the night, nice prices but £300 straight to the local scouts group for new camping equipment etc etc etc. Two new fire engines for London to reach the tallest buildings in Britain. Early mobile scanning equipment to catch illnesses in the NHS to save thousands of lives. The list is endless. Join the Freemasons in 2026
