And just like that...we were gone. Greenbelters you were utterly brilliant leaving yesterday, thank you. We arrived 12 years ago at Boughton and now we're off, and the only trace we've left is the red oak tree we planted on Sunday.

What a finale to our time at Boughton. Communion brought us all together on Sunday morning and then we all dived into another day of the riches Greenbelt has to offer. Thank you to every Greenbelter who helped us make this glorious space, and here's to our next chapter.

Morning Greenbelters! Just a reminder not to move your cars down the hill closer to the campsite entrance before you load up. All you will be doing is increasing the chance of your car getting stuck in mud. When you do drive out, remember to go slow and steady in the carparks. If your car starts sliding in the mud, stop and then try again slowly and don’t try to accelerate out of it.

Taxis and flatbeds today
We are sorry but due to the muddy conditions, taxis and flatbeds will be running a limited service and may take new routes. We'll be prioritising access users, so please only use these services if you absolutely have to. The new luggage drop-off point for the flatbed will be just outside (what we call) Gate Mike, which is near the campsite office exit.

Like Dolly said, if you want the rainbow you gotta put up with the rain. We may have had the rain yesterday, but Saturday at Greenbelt had the rainbow too. Artistry, activism and belief and absolutely everything else. See for yourself.

We walked 500 miles. We danced the rest. Through the sun and the rain Greenbelters loved our first day of festival yesterday, and we're doing it allllll again today. See you out there!

Morning Greenbelters! As you may have spotted, it’s already decidedly moist out there today and we are expecting some more of the wet stuff to come in during the day. We know you’re a hardy bunch, but here are a few ways you can help us to help you stay safe and festival-happy:

It’s getting slippy out there in some places so give yourself plenty of time to get around and take care of yourself and others. Take alternative routes if you can.

Sounds obvious, but make sure you’re dressed for it. You showed us yesterday that even a deluge isn’t going to stop you. If you’ve not broken out the wellies yet, today is the day.

Please remember that we are in a field and we are doing our best, but there may be limitations as to how accessible we can keep everywhere in these conditions. Please be patient with us (and with each other).

We’ll do our best to keep the programme running and on track, but there may be things outdoors that need to be cancelled or rescheduled if the weather really comes in.

Before heading into the festival, check on your tents and use your guy ropes to keep your tent ship shape in the rain.

We've been in touch with our friends at BCF. We are heartbroken for them, and we'll be thinking and praying for everyone there this weekend.

We are devastated by the serious incident that took place at Big Church Festival 2026 today, in which a sign fell, injuring at least seven people, one of whom tragically lost their life.

First and foremost, all of our thoughts are with those who have been affected, their families and friends, and everyone who witnessed what happened.

Following today’s incident, we have made the decision to bring Big Church Festival 2026 to a close.

Hey Greenbelters, our gates are now OPEN! It's pretty moist this morning, so feel free to wait out the worst once you're parked up. If you're keen to get pitched you can always just bring your tent in for now and leave the rest of your stuff in your car (where it's nice and dry).
