Friends and KDAS Sketching Breakfasts are now a firm fixture in the thriving Kettering and district arts scene. Everyone welcome to our next informal gathering on 14th November, enjoy a hearty breakfast and coffee and filll up those sketch books!

Opening Reception
Friday 18th August from 6 pm – 8 pm
All are welcome to celebrate the opening, meet the artist, and enjoy light refreshments. A collection of abstract and figurative pieces, exploring the subject of people dealing with chronic pain on a daily basis and the side effects in a social setting. This may include poor mental health, isolation, and escapism. Follow the journey from despair to optimism.

Very pleased to be showing my new work 'Dao' The Rice Planters at Boughton House stableyard and tea room this weekend as part of Northants Open Studios Exhibitions for 2023. Discover the fascinating history of some of Kettering's buildings on our next Town Walk on Saturday 29th April: the life of the coach houses before the trains arrived; the old Gotch bank and the reasons for its bankruptcy; that Lily Langtry once performed at the Kino Lounge when it was a theatre and how some of the rectors of St. Peter and Paul managed to hold on to their heads during the time of Henry VIII. FRIENDS OF KETTERING ART GALLERY AND MUSEUM MONTHLY TALK ON 15th March at St. Andrews Hall in Kettering will be David Turner telling us about the living legacy left by the Victorians and their love of Garden Cemeteries - the everyday and exotic trees of the London Road Cemetery. This is a first for the Friends: David has been investigating the flora of the cemetery over the past year, linking with Kew Gardens and local botanists and his talk promises a unique insight into Kettering's unique heritage.
