Just a sneaky peek at what was an absolutely HUGE production day for Summit Events at Bute Pride 2026! 🔊✨

⏰ 4:30am — leave Keswick
🚐 Ferry across to the Isle of Bute
🎛️ Full sound & lighting setup
🎶 Live production throughout the day
🌙 12:30am — finally packed down

A full 20-hour day — and worth every minute!

With such a large venue to cover, we ran a full front-of-house sound system with additional delay/infill speakers further down the venue, helping us deliver great coverage throughout the space.

And then there were the lights… 😍

Lighting effects and haze running throughout the day really brought the venue to life, and as daylight disappeared the whole setup looked incredible.

We had a brilliant line-up on stage too, including:

🎭 Chuckie Orlagh
🎶 Charlotte Henry
🎸 Katabatic Bloom
🔥 Double Nugget

…plus speakers, entertainment, the dog show and plenty more throughout the day!

The venue was buzzing, the performers were fantastic and the atmosphere from the crowd was incredible. 🏳️‍🌈❤️

🎪 What an incredible evening at Lyons Manor House Park 🎉

Last night’s family entertainment was one of those sessions that reminds me exactly why I love what I do.

From the very beginning, the mission was simple… this wasn’t going to be a show where the children just sat and watched. They were going to become part of it.

I think that took everyone by surprise at first! 😄

Within minutes the room had transformed. Children were up dancing, adults were joining me on stage, volunteers were helping with the magic, and the laughter just kept building throughout the evening.

One thing that’s really important to me is making sure the grown-ups enjoy themselves just as much as the children. Family entertainment should bring everyone together, and it was fantastic seeing parents and grandparents throwing themselves into the fun alongside the kids.

After the show, we broke out the circus skills, and this is always one of my favourite moments. Watching people discover they can do something they never thought possible is incredibly rewarding.

The spinning plates were definitely the star of the evening! You could hear cheers breaking out all around the room every time someone mastered that first successful spin. It didn’t matter whether they were four or forty – everyone celebrated each other’s little victories, and the atmosphere was just brilliant.

A huge thank you to all the wonderful families who joined in with such enthusiasm, and to the fantastic team at Lyons Manor House Holiday Park for making us feel so welcome.

I’m really looking forward to hopefully coming back again soon!

💙 A huge thank you to the team at Beyond Fitness Keswick!

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for putting up my Summit Events Cumbria advert and supporting another local business. It really does mean a lot.

Since moving to Keswick, Beyond Fitness has become so much more than just a gym. From day one, everyone has been incredibly welcoming, the staff are fantastic, and it’s created such a friendly environment to train in.

It’s also been a huge part of my own fitness journey. I’ve already managed to lose over a stone, and I’m feeling fitter, stronger and noticing a real improvement in my cardio and stamina. There’s still plenty of work to do, but I’m definitely heading in the right direction, and that’s thanks in no small part to the support and encouragement from the team there.

A special shout-out has to go to Meg Holloway and her Wild Movement dance class every Monday at 8:15pm. It genuinely is the highlight of my week! Brilliant music, loads of energy, and somehow manages to make a great workout feel like fun.

If you’re looking for a gym in Keswick, I honestly can’t recommend Beyond Fitness highly enough. Whether you’re just starting out or already well into your fitness journey, you’ll be made to feel welcome.

SO EXCITED!! 🤡🎉

Yesterday, the final pieces of my new costume arrived, and I can honestly say I’m absolutely over the moon with how this character has come together.

I’ve been entertaining children for over 25 years, ever since my days performing with the Skyline Gang at Butlin’s Skegness back in 1999. Over the years I’ve played all sorts of characters, but being able to create one that’s completely my own has been something I’ve wanted to do for a long time.

The goal was simple: create a character that’s bright, fun, full of mischief and cheeky enough to keep the children laughing, while still having the warmth and confidence that helps even the shyest little ones feel involved.

I genuinely think we’ve got there… and I can’t wait to introduce him to lots of new audiences! ❤️

If you’ve got a party for younger children, this character is going to be absolutely perfect.

For older children, don’t worry—I offer a range of different party packages too, with every show tailored to suit the age of the audience. No two parties are ever the same!

Three days. One phone call. One challenge I couldn’t say no to.

What started as a simple enquiry turned into one of the most creative and rewarding projects I’ve ever taken on. From writing a brand-new script and producing original music in Ableton Live, to creating Steve the Monster and rehearsing until 2am, this wasn’t just another show…

🎙️ Behind the scenes…

A brand-new show, written, recorded and brought to life in just a few days? Challenge accepted! 💪

I’m in the studio today recording the voice of Steve the Monster and making those final tweaks to the script. Even at this stage I’m still changing lines, refining the timing and making sure every moment gets the biggest laughs possible.

I can’t wait to head off to a top-secret school location to surprise over 100 children with a show that’s been created especially for them.

There’s something really exciting about building a performance from scratch and seeing it all come together.

Now… back to the studio! 🎧🎭

🎪Gig Highlight | Flynnes Barn Fest 2026 ☀️🔥

What an unforgettable day at Flynnes Barn Fest!

Set in the stunning Borrowdale Valley, it was an absolute privilege to be part of such a special event supporting the incredible work of Flynne’s Barn, a charity helping young people living with cancer build friendships, confidence and community through residential stays, counselling and outdoor experiences. If you haven’t heard of them before, they’re well worth checking out. 💚 Flynne’s Barn

✨ Gig Highlight | Wedding at Kames Castle, Isle of Bute ✨

What a fantastic evening celebrating at the beautiful Kames Castle, with the reception held under canvas in an incredible setting.

The night began with the couple’s first dance before handing over to the brilliant Frazer McLellan for two hours of energetic ceilidh dancing. After a late-night food break, I took over with the DJ set, keeping the dancefloor full right through until the early hours.

The bride and groom had put together a fantastic playlist that blended perfectly with some timeless dancefloor favourites, creating an amazing atmosphere from start to finish. It was one of those nights where the dancefloor never seemed to empty!

A huge shout-out as well to Regis Banqueting, who provided the catering, and to Frazer McLellan for another fantastic evening working together. It was a real team effort to create such a memorable celebration.

A huge thank you to the happy couple for trusting us to be part of your special day. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together! ❤️
