The Dance Studio The Dance Studio runs classes for all ages in Tunbridge Wells, Paddock Wood, Otford and Kemsing.

The Dance Studio holds classes in the following venues...
Mondays - Paddock Wood and Otford
Tuesdays - Tunbridge Wells
Wednesdays -Otford and Tunbridge Wells
Thursdays - Otford and Kemsing
Fridays -Tunbridge Wells


We teach Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Street Dance, Lyrical and Drama. Examinations are taken yearly under the NATD and we also give all pupils the chance to perform in a professional theatre

We have had a jam packed 2025 bursting full of dance, fun and laughter!
Happy new year to all of our dancers & their families, we cannot wait to see you all in 2026 and see what this year brings!

The Dance Studio is currently in its 40th year and has continued to go from strength to strength, we are so proud of all of our dancers this year and we look forward to another successful year for everyone.

🌟 How amazing was the Tapathon today! 🌟

46 dancers from our Tunbridge Wells and Paddock Wood branches took part in this years Tapathon supporting and they all had such a great time. Joining dancers from all over the country, they performed their routine and helped raise money for an incredible cause.

To have even qualified for the championships is such a fantastic achievement, but we also came away with some wonderful results!

What an incredible few days at .c.s_festival Sussex! Our dancers absolutely shone on stage and have come away with some amazing results.

The support they all showed each other backstage was so lovely to see and they had as much fun off stage as on.

🌟 Juvenile Dancer Auditions 🌟

We are looking for 2 teams of Juvenile dancers for our January pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk!

Open to all between the ages of 4 and 8, we are looking for dancers to be involved in our annual family pantomime being held at The Stag Theatre, Sevenoaks from the 22-25th January 2026.

🗺️- Sawmill Studios, Brasted
📅- 2nd November 2025
⏰- 4.30-5.30pm

⭐️ What does my child need to bring? - please make sure they are wearing dance wear and bring either ballet or jazz shoes, they can have bare feet if needed.

⭐️ What does my child need to prepare? - Nothing! They will be taught a short routine on the day.

⭐️ What is the commitment? - Our juvenile dancers rehearse every Sunday from 4.30-5.30pm at Sawmill Studios. They will then be needed for three performances and one dress rehearsal during our show week. All parents are also required to become a licensed chaperone through their local authority or they can opt out by paying a chaperone fee. (Please email us for details)

⭐️ What does it cost? - There is no cost for our auditions. If successful, dancers will pay a £20 membership fee and a £40 show fee.

👻 On Sunday, some of our performance team travelled to Alton Towers to perform in the Alton Towers Hotel with 👻

They were absolutely incredible and performed two routines which we cannot wait to share with you soon.

All of the dancers were such great fun backstage and they all enjoyed a day in the theme park as well.

We love being able to offer performance opportunities without the stress of competing alongside our competition events 💙
