A child's imagination is crucial for development for many reasons.
In short, imagination helps children understand the world around them in a way that best makes sense in their minds.
Imaginative play truly allows children to express themselves in various ways, giving them ample opportunities to try out different scenarios with safe boundaries.
During imaginative play, children develop their mental, social, emotional, and physical skills.
“The imagination is the golden pathway to everywhere.”
- Terence McKenna
I love to engage children with their imagination and I love hearing all their innovative ideas. My workshops are like stepping into an imagination room and the children get a chance to be 100% authentic with their innovative ideas.
Would your child enjoy an imagination room at school? How amazing wouid that be? We would learn so much more about them as people.
It’s one thing that teachers always say when I run my imaginative, creative workshops - they see a different side to the children that they hadn’t noticed before.
