What a fantastic session at Priory Youth Theatre last night! 🎭⚔️

A huge thank you to Pete and Rach from YPI for delivering a thrilling body combat and stage fighting workshop. Our young performers had an amazing time learning new skills, building confidence, and bringing some action-packed drama to the stage!

We can’t wait to see these techniques put into practice in future productions!

Rehearsals are in full swing as our talented cast prepare to bring Richard Harris’s warm, witty and heartwarming comedy to the stage.

Set in a North London church hall, Stepping Out follows a group of enthusiastic amateur tap dancers as they navigate friendship, laughter, challenges and a looming charity performance. Under the watchful eye of former professional dancer Mavis, can this lovable group pull together and be ready in time?

We are thrilled to announce upcoming auditions for Ira Levin's thrilling and suspenseful classic, Deathtrap, directed by Mark Jefferies.

📅 Auditions:
• Sunday 12 July at 4pm
• Sunday 19 July at 4pm

This gripping thriller features a small cast of five fascinating characters and offers a fantastic challenge for performers looking to be part of a fast-paced, tension-filled production.

Auditions will take the form of a relaxed group read-through, with everyone welcome to read for any role that interests them.

Local theatre is built on people coming together to create, connect and share stories. Sending huge congratulations and thanks to the entire cast, crew, production team and everyone involved in Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution on a hugely successful run at the Priory.
From the very first rehearsal to the final curtain call, this production has been something truly special. Not only because of the Christie’s gripping story, but because of the incredible team behind it. The support, friendship and camaraderie throughout the process made it a joy to be part of, with everyone pulling together and helping each other every step of the way.
There were challenges along the way too, from performing through some incredibly hot weather to sharing the theatre with a family of nesting birds! However, the teamwork from every area of the theatre, props to costume, technical to front of house, really made the experience all the more memorable.
The wonderful feedback from audiences has been a testament to the hard work of everyone involved.
As the curtain falls on this production, you leave behind a show to be proud of and memories that will last long after the jury’s verdict has been delivered.

Only a couple of performances left of Witness for the Prosecution at the Priory… and what a brilliant run it has been! 🎭

From the first rehearsal, the cast and crew have thrown themselves into every twist, turn and dramatic moment of this Agatha Christie classic, it’s been such a joy watching the company grow together and audiences react night after night.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the production so far.
