National Champs days 2&3 🩶

Star Sign jumped beautifully in our warm up 90 class on Wednesday to finish in 7th, then we had one unfortunate pole in the 105 preliminary 2 class where I hadn’t got her off my leg enough to keep us out of the final on Thursday.

We finished just outside the top 10 in the Thursday consolation with 8 faults, on a course that seemed to be causing a lot of problems for everyone. On paper maybe not the best result, but so much improvement for us as a team compared to our recent rounds!

Star Sign at Sussex Area 46 Championships yesterday and today!

Just one unfortunate pole in each class where we’re out of practice being in the show ring, but lots of improvement today vs yesterday so onwards and upwards!

The quality of today’s round is so shocking I can’t post it 😭 but Star Sign jumped fabulous, getting us our final clear to qualify for the 105 at national champs in August!
We weren’t riding competitive, just aiming for the clear round, but ended up finishing 5th in a very large class too!

A very busy class, and a very hot day, but she was fab as per 🩶

Star Sign was incredible at her first show back last week!

We chucked her in the deep end with Novice second rounds, not expecting much and we managed to finish 6th out of 57 starters! An unfortunate pole in the third round stopped us from qualifying but I really could not have asked anymore from her 🩶
