So, just to say…this is our last season as we are retiring!!
After 25 years as Classic Ensembles ….. playing for over 2,000 weddings, christenings, birthdays, anniversaries, recitals, garden festivals, christmas, halloween, valentine’s day and new year events, car launches, supermarket openings, university award ceremonies, press awards, marketing events, and an event for the Coronation this May…..it is time to hang up our instruments!
We trained classically and played in orchestral concerts for many years before we decided to start our own group in the beautiful Lake District … playing crossover versions of modern and classic songs.
We can honestly say we have loved it so much…. but age has crept up on us!
Thank you to all the lovely couples who booked us to play for your special day.
Thank you also to the staff at all the fantastic venues who have made us feel welcome and recommended us over the years, the Registrars and wedding suppliers we have met along the way.
It has been a pleasure to get to know you and work alongside you all.
Finally …. apologies to all the couples who have asked us to play for their wedding or function next year and beyond … it has been extremely difficult turning you all down!
