We are delighted to announce our headline sponsor for Kendal Whisky Festival 2026, Tobermory Distillery located on the picturesque harbor of the Hebridean Isle of Mull, Tobermory is the island’s only operating whisky distillery. Founded in 1798 and originally named Ledaig, it is famous for producing two distinct single malts: an unpeated, fruity Tobermory and a heavily peated, smoky Ledaig.
This year Tobermory will be exhibiting again with their sister distilleries Deanston & Bunnahabhain, we are again delighted to welcome festival friends David Brodie & Andrew Brown alongside one of the team from Tobermory to talk through the respective brands, an exciting opportunity to talk to the distillery teams about their whisky and how its made.
Myself and Phil were delighted to attend Tobermory Distillery’s second festival last weekend, with insightful masterclasses and an incredible value for money Warehouse No 1 tasting including some incredibly old and rare whisky drawn straight for the casks in the warehouse.
