A massive thank you to everyone who attendLAKES DANCE Festivalval this year!

It has been so lovely seeing all of your photos and reliving such a special few days.

It was wonderful to see you all again and to witness just how much you’ve grown and continued to improve 🥰🥰

A huge thank you to our wonderful adjudicator, Craig Bartley, for providing such an inspiring and memorable four days for all of our dancers.

We are also incredibly grateful to our amazing chaperones and volunteers—these events simply wouldn’t be possible without you.

Good evening everyone,

We hope you’re all as excited as we are for the upcoming weekend! We look forwardto greeting you all and our Adjudicator Lara Chapman.

Just a few housekeeping notes before you arrive on Friday:

Supervision:

Children must not be left unattended anywhere in the building — including toilets and surrounding areas.
Chaperones will be provided for the performance side only (escorting children to the holding area and supervising them backstage). At all other times — in changing rooms, corridors, toilets, the tuck shop, or the auditorium — children must remain under the care of their nominated adult.
(Our child protection policy is available at the front desk for your attention.)

Accessibility:
We’re aware there are a few steps into the building and auditorium. We pride ourselves on being as helpful as possible — if you need any assistance (for example, fetching a brew from upstairs or help getting to the toilet), please speak to a member of the LDF team and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Arrival & Sign-In:
Please arrive 1 hour before your section starts. Doors will open 1 hour before the first section of the day begins.
All children must be signed in and out at the front desk by their nominated adult — this is to ensure everyone’s safety and smooth running throughout the event.

Payments:
Card machines will be available at the front door and tuck shop, but please bring cash if possible to help things run smoothly.
Ticket prices:

Adults: £5 per day

Children: £3 per day

Weekend pass: £14 (adults), £9 (children)

Parking:
Parking is available across the road at Stramongate School, opening 1 hour before the first section starts.
Please be respectful of the school grounds — only park in designated bays. If spaces are full, alternative parking is available and if you as popping into town after you have finished for the day we would appreciate you moving to another car park to allow space for those who are in the building at the time :

Multistorey: £1 all day if you park before 9am

Dates for your diary-

We have pencilled in our next festival as the evening of the Friday 25th- 27th october ,

We have tried to accommodate both countys with their holidays but its does mean we wont have as much room as normal 🙂.

A massive thanks to everyone for supporting us again! I can’t get over the talent that we’ve seen this weekend. I think the standard get’s higher every time and a massive thanks to all the parents and teachers for thier hard work to make it all go ahead!

A huge thanks to all our chaperones and volunteers for giving uo their time to help it run so smoothly. And to Helen Michelle Vidotti for stepping in to save the day 🙂.
