DANCEsling will be at the All About Kids Family Festival again THIS SATURDAY!!

I’ll be there with my little stall hoping to chat to lots of families about the joy of DANCEsling!!

Not only that, but this year we will be performing too!! I will be dancing with 7 wonderful mummies to give everyone a little glimpse of what we get up to in class! Catch our performance at 12.00pm!

You can tickets in advance or on the door! It’s such a wonderful day of fun for children of all ages….lots for babies, mums to be, under 3’s and older kiddies too! The weather is supposed to be brighter this weekend so why not join us for a fun day in the sun!!

I am an Advanced Pelvic Health Physiotherapist with over 18 years worth of experience caring for women in pregnancy and rehabbing postnatal mummies.
I am passionate about spreading the word about Pelvic Floor Health and take every chance I have to encourage pelvic floor muscle training!

Every week at DANCEsling we do a pelvic floor workout. Of course we go through the basics, BUT we do a practical workout in standing, moving and while holding our babies too!

As mummies, especially in the first year after having a baby, we are doing so much physically…..getting on and off the floor, walking, rocking, pacing while lifting and carrying baby, pushing baby (and shopping) in the pram, lifting the car seat in and out of the car, cuddling and comforting ALL while our babies are growing bigger, stronger and heavier!

Try the to keep on track and remember to exercise your Pelvic Floor everyday!

Our pelvic floor muscles need to KEEP UP with us busy mums!! So although they are a good place to start, we can’t stick to only doing our pelvic floor exercises in sitting or lying down…..we must all gradually build up to doing them when we’re standing, then moving, then walking and with the weight of our growing little people!

YOU CAN DO IT!! Your pelvic floor needs you! 😊

I’m back at the All About Kids Colchester Family Fest this year!

If all goes according to plan, I should be next to the lovely Maria and .colchestersling Beautiful Bonds Colchester sling library!

This year I’m being brave and DANCEsling will be performing!! I’ll have some wonderful mummies by my side to dance some of our recent favourite routines!

The festival is such a fun day for all the family so come along and have a great time and show us some support too!! 😁
