*** WANTED FOR HIRE - LWB VAN/LUTON ***

Looking to hire an empty LWB/Luton van (with or without driver) for 10 days from tomorrow (Sunday 17th August) to transport kit to Shambala Festival for the Squatter's Tights DIY punk venue.

Will need to use as secure lockup for artists' equipment throughout the event.

Can provide a ticket, all fuel costs, payment for driving time, and provide crew food/booze, of course (if hired with the driver) or pay cash for dry hire.

Last minute, I know, but original vehicle has fallen through and am having difficulty finding a hire company to hire to a driver under 25 (he is 24)

Gutted to hear of the passing of Sorrel Badger yesterday - since meeting you at the Dragon Festival all those years ago, and working with you at Freekuency, was always great to see you each year in a field somewhere for a natter and catch up 🖤

Thanks for always supporting the scene, and especially bigging up whatever projects and mad ideas I've been involved with!

Bristol folks! Next weekend at BASE Cafe

Bristol Squatted will be preparing dinner, on Sunday 26th November, with documentary excerpts and a chat!

They will be showing clips from three films telling stories of squatting in Bristol, Brixton and Amsterdam, and hosting a discussion on how these histories compare to Bristol today. They will also give a short update on the Bristol Squatted community history project and make a call out for volunteers to join their group.

As always, the dinner will be vegan and solidary (pay-what-you-can). We hope you can come along!
