When the Shetland ponies first arrived, they stepped into their new home, unsure but curious, taking in their surroundings with watchful eyes. The journey to get them where they are today didn’t happen overnight — it took months of care, patience, and dedication to help them become healthy, fit, and well again. Slowly but surely, day by day, they began to change. Their strength returned, their confidence grew, and little glimpses of their true characters started to shine through.
The once-wary glances turned into bright, cheeky expressions, and before long the field was filled with playful energy and mischief. Each one revealed a personality all of its own — from the bold little leader to the gentle soul who just loves a fuss.
Now, it feels like they’ve always been part of life here. They greet us with familiar nickerings, follow us about as if we’ve known each other forever, and never fail to bring a smile (and often a laugh) with their antics.
These little ponies may be small, but their personalities are huge. And after everything they’ve been through, it makes it all the more special to see them thriving — knowing this is just the start of many happy chapters to come 🐴💕
