Good morning all! We have a missing Samsung phone in a front open black case... the screen saver is a picture of three witches from Terry Pratchet.

Could anyone that came to last night's Lodge event just do an idiot check of pockets and bags in case of it being picked up accidentally in a state of musical ecstasy, and drop us anline? Thank you!

I know. We have been cruel. Hiding away and THEN adding insult to injury by reducing our events down to one a month. Super harsh. So, best not miss this one or the following!

This FRIDAY 3rd April we host THE BATTERY BAND.

Absolutely superb folk, both trad and original, from all over the place. We don't know what we will get, but we know it will be wonderful. Don't miss it, people.

Coming up this Friday 6th, The Lodge Arts Collective step solidly into the Musical New Year hosting - MONIKER :

'Fresh from a triumphant comeback at the Hidden Gem Festival, Moniker brings a formidable new line-up and a signature sound defined by soaring melodies, three-part harmonies, andgrowling guitars.

Originally emerging from the rich Ayrshire and Glasgow music scenes of the late 1990s, Moniker returned to the stage in September at the Hidden Gem Festival in Dumfries. The highly-
anticipated comeback gig introduced a formidable new lineup and a sonic evolution that bridges the gap between the grit of 90s alternative rock and the cinematic atmosphere of post-
rock.

Moniker has been given a potent new lease of life by Dumfries-based songwriter Cameron Scade. The band creates a wall of sound that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking - an intense, melodic, and atmospheric experience that demands to be heard live.

This is a band with pedigree, bringing together a wealth of talent from respected acts including Firth, Spacehopper, Barstow Bats, The Lucky Doves and The Mind Sweepers'.

Always free entry, gonna be a great night!

And so our Burns Night suffered from the sudden striking down with unknown lurgy against our usual fantastic Shaun Jardine/Tam O'Shanter. He was sorely missed and now luckily on the mend.

At the last minute we were graced by the aged 'Phil McKavity', who despite dotage, short sight, knock knees and a travesty of a Scottish accent, got us through!

Our next eveny is back on with the music, featuring the emerging MONIKER on Friday 6th Feb!
