Winning a championship title is such a special moment for any dancer, and last week it was finally my own girl’s turn.

🏆 AANYA THAPAR — TDCI JUNIOR TAP CHAMPION 🏆

There’s something so unique about teaching your own child. They’re often the one who gets the last little bit of your time and energy, quietly getting on with it while everyone else comes first.

And that’s exactly what Aanya has done. Quietly working away, pushing herself and becoming the dancer she has always dreamed of being.

From the shy little girl who was once so nervous to step onto a stage, to the confident dancer we see today… you have completely blown us away. ❤️

Watching you have your moment is something I’ll hold in my heart forever. Not just as your teacher, but as your mum.

We are SO excited to welcome back one of my former college students, who is currently working professionally as the Associate Choreographer for the UK Tour of SIX The Musical! 💜✨

Tomorrow evening, our Senior dancers will have the fantastic opportunity to take part in an exclusive 90-minute workshop, learning from someone who is currently working at the heart of one of the UK’s most successful musical theatre productions! 👑🔥

For me personally, there is something incredibly special about seeing a former student go on to achieve such amazing things within the professional industry, and then being able to welcome them back to inspire and work with the next generation of dancers. ❤️🖤

Opportunities like this are so important for our students. It gives them the chance to learn from current industry professionals, experience professional choreography and gain a real insight into the standards, energy and expectations of the musical theatre world.

Grace, where do we even begin… ❤️

Although our journey with you might have been short, it has been the biggest pleasure and privilege to be a part of it. To watch not only the dancer you have become, but the person you have become too, has been so incredibly special.

You have a love for dance that is so unique. There is something so wholesome about watching someone simply love and appreciate the art and craft of dance the way you do. Every time you step on that stage, you remind us exactly what dancing is all about.

You have created a legacy that will live on at Dans-Scene forever and truly became the epitome of everything our dance school is about. There aren’t many people who leave such a lasting impression on so many, but you have certainly done that. ❤️

Although this is only the end of one small part of your journey, we know that not only us, but so many others, will miss getting to watch you dance week in, week out. You have become such a huge part of our dance family, and we feel so lucky to have created a lifetime of memories with you in such a short space of time.

Thank you for inspiring so many of our younger dancers, for being someone they can look up to, and most of all, thank you for inspiring us too. Watching you grow, achieve your dreams and continually give everything to the thing you love most has been something we will never forget.

✨ PANTO LAND FOR ANOTHER YEAR! ✨

For the second year running, Bella has successfully auditioned for the Pavilion Theatre’s pantomime of Goldilocks and the Three Bonnie Bears! 🐻🎭✨

We are so proud of you, Bella! ❤️ How exciting to be spending another Christmas doing what you love and making even more special memories in panto land!

We can’t wait to come along and see you shining on that stage once again! 🌟
