The Johnstone Theatre Group’s aim is to create outstanding, innovative and entertaining performances using original writing, music, technology and theatrical experimentation within local communities. Our aims are

To inspire creativity, passion, thought and fun in company members and audiences alike

While our cast might be the ones you'll see causing chaos on stage, there's a brilliant team behind the scenes bringing The Wee Mermaid to life!

🎬 Director – Carol McLaughlan
🎶 Musical Director – Andrew Scott
💃 Choreographer – Fiona Beattie

From bringing the laughs to life, to getting those harmonies just right and putting the cast through their paces, rehearsals are about to get very busy! 😂

We can't wait to show you what this trio and our fabulous cast have in store.

Last night we held our AGM, officially kicking off another year at Johnstone Phoenix Theatre Group! 🎭

A huge thank you to our outgoing President Carol McLaughlan for all the time, care and commitment she has given to the club during her time in the role. ❤️

And we’re delighted to welcome Iain Usher as our new President! 👏

With a new committee in place and rehearsals for The Wee Mermaid about to begin, there’s lots to look forward to over the months ahead. 🧜‍♀️🌊

Here’s to another year of shows, friendships, laughter and the usual JPTG chaos! 😂🎭
