Our Geordie Hinnies Song Workshop is now FULLY BOOKED!

We’ve loved how popular this event has been, but we need to keep workshop numbers low, so we’re now offering tickets for the performance only!

We're setting a challenge for our followers! Buried in St Andrew's Cemetery, Jesmond, is songwriter James Horsley. You can listen to our immersive audio trail to hear all about him, but we need your help to add a photo of his grave - can you be the first to find it?

We're excited to announce our upcoming Geordie Hinnies Song Workshop! This FREE event combines traditional Geordie folk songs with relatable modern experiences, with tears of laughter along the way.

As well as a live performance, the Geordie Hinnies will be sharing their songwriting magic to give you a chance to make your own musical creations!

Have you ever wondered what your street used to look like?

Join in with our historic map activity at our Make Your Mark event to add your memories to those who came before you! Our trail tells a variety of stories, but we want to include yours, too. Help us bring our history of Jesmond up to now. We'll explore how Jesmond developed and how you can get involved in the Discover Jesmond 1888 project to develop your research skills. We'll also have a selection of historic images, and artist Britt Coxon Art and Design will be running a workshop to make a zine all about Jesmond.
