🌿Re-upload 🌿The Newcastle Witch trials 1650. The dark past of my hometown. This period I have been actively attempting to educate viewers since 2018 in my project ‘Where are the Newcastle witches?’ where I campaigned for the wider acknowledgment of this historic event. 8 years later there is still no public acknowledgment for the Newcastle 16. I think Newcastle can do better- so I once again ask - Where are the Newcastle Witches?
I’m considering re-opening the project, give me a dm if this is something you would like to potentially collaborate on

My Nana’s “the one ring” is now on loan and on display Jarrow Hall as part of the exhibition “Here be dragons” all about the influence of Anglo-Saxon literature and art on modern culture. Now this ring is a replica but the story behind it is what makes it so special. After my nana had passed we cleared her house and my mam became the possessor of the One ring. Believing it was my grandads and the inscription was Arabic (believing it was from when he served in Egypt during the war). She asked me to read it and to her horror I had to tell her it was “some kind of elvish”. Now my nana we know had never read nor seen Lord of the rings so where it came from we have no idea.
