Rivers & Moorland Festival The Rivers & Moorland Festival is a 5 year project to celebrate the people who live & work on Dartmoor.

The inaugural arts & environment festival is happening in Ivybridge June 5th & 6th 2026, with Princetown and Okehampton to follow

Erme Valley Harriers were very pleased to donate £500 to the Wild About the Erme River Charity (WATER) following the Ivybridge 10K.
These were from the runners who decided not to receive a T-shirt and sales of T-shirts to the members.
is a catchment-focused environmental charity working to restore the Erme River, its tributaries and habitat to their naturally healthy state.

The aim of this local charity is to safeguard people and wildlife from the harmful effects of pollution and to protect and improve the water quality and biodiversity of the Erme’s entire catchment area, its estuary and beaches.

Today, we celebrated a new Ivybridge mural by , commissioned as part of Rivers & Moorland Festival. It's at The Eye by Ivybridge Leisure Centre, next to the River Erme, and reflects the local landscape.

This morning, we unveiled 'Erme', a new public installation by on the footbridge at Glanvilles Mill, Ivybridge. The bridge traces the path of the River Erme from its source to the coast at Mothecombe.

Using mobile devices, audiences can explore these points in greater depth, creating an interactive experience that connects people more closely with the River Erme and its rich environment.
