The Sunshine Choir We are a fun and friendly singing group. We are dementia friends and welcome people with dementia and their carers.

After a year “on the road” doing singalongs at care homes such as White Plains and Sunnyside and visiting wonderful local groups; The Golden Oldies, The Best Yeara, Twinkle Together, we are back on Monday mornings at Iver Heath Bowls Club starting 12th January 2026!

Fantastic News!!! 🥳

We are back! After a year and a half of not being able to sing together, The Sunshine Choir is finally restarting on Monday 20th September.

We are singing from 11am til 12 noon at The Kings Church in Iver on the following dates:

Monday 20 September
Monday 27 September
Monday 4 October (No Session)
Monday 11 October
Monday 18 October
Monday 25 October
Monday 1 November
Monday 8 November
Monday 15 November
Monday 22 November
Monday 29 November
Monday 6 December

Please come along from 10.30 onwards for a cup of tea and a chat. All welcome

If you know anyone living with dementia, or if you just want to come along and have a good old sing song, then please invite them along.

£5 per session (carers go free)

After a few weeks gap, we was finally able to meet up for a sunshine walk at Black Country park this week. It was lovely to have some more of our sunshine choir guests and their Carers join us. We had sunshine and singing to help us along the way and all enjoyed some refreshments/lunch at the end. 🥰🥰

The Sunshine Choir had another wonderful walk in the sunshine this week, this time in the beautiful Temple Gardens at Langley Park.

We were delighted to welcome back our friends Roy, Rhoda and Rodica. We enjoyed Roy singing in harmony with us again.

We caused quite a stir with our chatter, laughter and singing. We made lots of passers by smile to see our happy group enjoying each other’s company.

It was fun blowing bubbles and using the fallen rhododendron flowers as confetti and decorating buttonholes with them.

We look forward to our next walk. We never know what it will bring us but we do know that fun + fresh air + friendship = very special moments.
