YOUNG PERSON WANTED โ COME AND JOIN OUR TEAM! ๐ง
Weโre looking for a young person to come and join our small, family run team at Jeffrey Fabrication in Irvine and learn the steel fabrication and welding trade hands-on.
First things first, weโre much more interested in the person than the paperwork.
We donโt particularly care how you got on in your exams, and please donโt let not having a CV, or not being confident putting one together, stop you from applying.
If you donโt have a CV, thatโs absolutely fine. Just send us an email telling us a wee bit about yourself, what you enjoy doing and why you think youโd be a good fit for our team.
What matters to us is your attitude.
Weโre looking for someone who:
โข Is hardworking, reliable and keen to learn
โข Gets on well with others and enjoys being part of a small team
โข Isnโt afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in
โข Likes practical, hands-on work
โข Is happy working in the workshop and outside on site, including plenty of freezing Ayrshire winter days! ๐ฅถ๐
โข Takes pride in doing a job properly
Youโll work alongside experienced steel fabricators and welders, learning on the job and getting involved in everything from gates and railings to glass balustrades, structural steelwork and bespoke fabrication.
For the right person, there may also be the opportunity further down the line to attend college and work towards an NC in Welding/Fabrication, alongside gaining practical experience with us.
This could be a great opportunity for someone who knows sitting in a classroom all day isnโt really for them and would much rather learn by getting stuck in and doing the job.
Because weโre a small family business, you wonโt just be another number. Weโre looking for someone who can become a genuine part of our team, learn from the experience we have here and hopefully stay and develop with the business for years to come.
