A solid black and grey skull wrapped around the lower bicep today.

I wanted this one to have a darker, painterly feel rather than a smooth photo-realism look. Strong contrast, plenty of depth and enough black in the right places to make sure it still hits hard once healed.

Really enjoyed tattooing this one and seeing it flow with the shape of the arm.

A recent thigh piece completed at The Viper Pit Tattoo Studio.

The client wanted a lioness surrounded by florals, keeping the overall look soft, feminine and flowing with the natural shape of the thigh. Rather than using heavy contrast throughout, this piece was approached with a more painterly style, focusing on smooth blends and subtle transitions to create a softer finish.

The lioness represents strength, courage and resilience, while the floral elements add balance and elegance to the design.

This client came to us wanting to cover a small tattoo dedicated to an ex. What once represented a relationship that didn’t stand the test of time has now been transformed into something she can be proud to wear forever.

Using a custom ornamental floral design, we were able to completely disguise the original tattoo while creating a piece that flows naturally with her anatomy and feels like it was always meant to be there.

The best cover-ups aren’t just about hiding old ink – they’re about helping someone move forward with something new.

A Roman numeral band wrapped around the arm wasn’t the easiest thing to cover, but with careful placement, strong contrast and a realistic lion eye design, we were able to completely transform it into something the client can be proud of.

No laser.
No blacked-out arm.
Just a proper cover-up.
