This is a prototype sempervivum table centre piece. It is already planted up. It was only planted up on 14th sept so the plants will not have rooted fully yet. There are a selection of different plants.
It is a stoneware donut trough designed to be a table centre piece. The planter pebble is also included which contains a plant that roots easily, tradescantia. It has a purple tinge to the underside of the leaves which is very well suited to compliment the turquoise glaze.
It can be picked up from my studio in Freston, or home in Ipswich IP1. To be arranged after purchase.

Claire’s House Pottery lovely day doing raku with a group from Claire's House pottery in Bury St Edmunds. Some amazing pieces out of the kiln. Afraid I didn't get any photos of them but keep searching and I'm sure you will see some results. We did regular glazed and reduction fired raku as well as horse hair (and cat and human!) and feather raku. Some amazing effects were achieved all round. The appeal of raku is the immediacy of it all. And of course the burning bit.

Enjoy learning to create your own unique master pieces using various hand building techniques. You will be shown, over the 4 weeks, how to coil, use slab and make pinch pot creations. Michelle, an experienced potter, will guide you through projects and there will be time given to finish and decorate your master pieces. Materials are charged by fired weight once work is finished.
The Monday morning course (starts 29th June) is from 9.30 till 12 and the Friday evening course (starts 26th June) is from 5 till 7.30. both courses are at Stoke Bridge Workshops in Ipswich. You can book through :
