It's wet outside, at last! Such a relief for the veg growing. But it means you need to do indoor things. Come and be nosey and have a look around 9 different artists studios on the Shotley art trail, I'm first, or last depending on which way you go. Here we are again. The amazing and beautiful weird and wonderful. Liz and I will be demonstrating various forms of raku as well as selling our own wares. Some partially wood fired and some using wood ash glaze. All beautiful! Hopefully not weird! Looking forward to seeing lots of familiar faces as well as new ones. It has been a manic 10 days of prep but we have got there. Some show stopper pieces too. And hopefully more to come during the weekend. Have fun whatever you are doing.

So the tubes are attached at the top of the vase. They will then hold single flowers or small bunches. Having an allotment and a large selection of flowers at the studio it's handy because you can have one of something or small groups. It also aids in the arranging of a large bunch. The tubes are short and are there just to hold the flowers. They all share the same water. I love them. It's a cribbed and adapted idea. Not entirely original. Just in how I make the tubes and arrange them.
