is finally here and I couldn’t be happier! It’s a very special day for me and my fellow Elmer elephants, as it’s a day to bring attention to the urgent plight of Asian and African elephants around the world 🐘

Elephants demonstrate many human traits such as empathy, self-awareness and social intelligence but yet, unfortunately we get treated very unfairly💔

Due to the escalation of poaching, habitat loss and human-elephant conflict, we are on the brink of losing these magnificent creatures.

World Elephant Day enables us to raise the awareness of the treatment of elephants and help to conserve and protect elephants from the numerous threats they face.

You can buy the special souvenir sticker album and activity book from selected stockists - most Co-op stores, Elmer HQ, St Elizabeth Hospice shops, and the Tourist Information Centre👍

3 MORE DAYS and I will be in this very position for summer! Let’s hope that the sun is shining so I can top up my tan 😉
