Over the past few months, Iโve spent a lot of time listening to radio stations, DJ shows and podcasts, as well as attending nights out and events โ and one thing has really stood out to me:
Here in the UK, I donโt believe we play or champion enough of our own music.
We have an incredible amount of talent across the country, from established names to emerging independent artists. But how can the next generation of UK talent truly break through if theyโre constantly competing for attention with music from overseas?
