Mals' Stained Glass

Mals' Stained Glass My hobby & passion since 1991, (besides my family) has been Stained Glass. flowing water, fire, a leaf or stormy weather. Thanks

Now retired my mind is kept challenged & occupied by making unique & unusual items in glass. In 1990 whilst living in Limassol Cyprus I was fortunate enough to have lessons in making stained glass items by a qualified expert & shop owner. What I like and enjoy about Stained Glass is the variety, richness, depth and changing colours your eyes are feasted upon in just one pane. Whilst buying a sheet

of glass from the suppliers and holding it up to the light, it will speak of what it wants to be i.e. Some of my work is original, unique and one offs (especially the dioramas and Prairie style lamps). The best way to view is to click on photos on the left of the screen and choose an Album, as some of the photos have been put into a sequence so you can see the stages of some projects. So please take a look and I hope you enjoy what you see.

Evening all. During the past weeks I thought I would build up stock for the December rush. Well, I need to start again due to 10 Robins having flown the nest and a blue butterfly finding new pastures. 😂

'HOME SWEET HOME'.
This window was inspired by a gift we received of Snoopy and Woodstock resting on the kennel. In my design, I have added the 'Home' on the kennel and the sunrise valley. The sun is a lovely iridescent streaky red. Hope you enjoy.

Yet another sunflower from me. This one is larger than the others and free form as opposed to the more geometric designed ones I make. The outer ring is iridescent green. Hope you enjoy.🙂

Evening all. Thought I would update my cover photo. I bought several colours of this 'Spectrum' glass from 'creativeglassguild.co.uk' some time ago. I created this window for myself. Hope you like it.
