Could cake toppers be the next addition to Dylan's Hand Painted Pebbles? 👀

I absolutely loved creating this personalised slate cake topper for Colin's 70th birthday! ❤️

The brief was to paint Colin's much-loved summer house, complete with his beautiful flower pot, and of course Colin himself, leaning on his trusty spade – a place and pose that means so much to him. It's always an honour to turn special memories into keepsakes that can be treasured long after the cake has been eaten.

A huge thank you to Jo for trusting me with this special commission and for sharing these lovely photos. I hope your dad had a fantastic 70th birthday! 🎉

I've been questioning whether or not to share this post on here, but I feel that, in some small way, it’s another way of keeping Dylan’s memory alive — by speaking about him, remembering him, and continuing to share the impact he had on our lives.

It’s also a reminder to hold the people you love a little closer, because life can change in an instant. 🤍

🤍Today is a bittersweet day. 💙 Niall starts P4, and today should have been Dylan's first day of P1. 😢 It's heartbreaking to think of all the moments we're missing, and all the memories we'll never get to make. My heart aches for Niall, who should have been proudly taking his little brother to school today. 💔 Life is so hard without you, Dylan. We miss you every single day and love you more than words could ever express. Forever loved, forever missed. Love always, Mummy, Daddy, Niall & Sooty. X###x🤍

These are memorial pebbles for Ross, who sadly passed away earlier this year after spending 17 wonderful years in Australia. Although he loved Australia, Scotland was always home in his heart.
