Over the past while, I’ve had some really positive, useful feedback and suggestions from the local music community - so I’ve been thinking about how The Music Shed Inverness can better support the Inverness music scene.

I’m going to trial some **limited off-peak deals** for broke musicians, young up-and-coming bands, and solo artists - giving you access to a nice rehearsal space, with amazing gear at *extremely affordable rates*.

So here it is…

- Sunday 5th April 2026 - 2pm - 5pm

🥁 Yamaha Stage Custom kit *(breakables not included – bring snare, cymbals & sticks)*
🎚️ PreSonus Arc16c mixing desk
🔊 2 x QSC K12.2 speakers + 2 x QSC KS212C subs
🎤 1 Shure vocal mic *(feel free to bring your own)*
🎙️ 6 mic stands + cables included

🎸 Guitars & bass can run straight into the desk (Hi-Z), or bring your own amps if you prefer.

Had such a brilliant day in the studio today working on a song with 16 kids from Kinloss Primary School on behalf of the charity Never Such Innocence.
It was a squash and a squeeze, nerves were overcome, and we pulled together as a team to get an awesome track recorded. The kids then told me that it was the best day they've ever had.
And to think that some education councils want to reduce or get rid of music from the curriculum
