Monster Comedy are returning to La Tortilla Asesina for another night of Comedy and Dinner! 😂🥘

🗓️ 2nd October (Comedy starts 7:00pm)
📍 Upstairs at La Tortilla (99 Castle St, Inverness)

Enjoy delicious Paella and Churros, followed by an evening starring some of Scotlands hottest comic talents! 🇪🇸🤝🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Headliner for the evening will be the fantastic JACK BROOKMYRE! 🎤

Jack Brookmyre is an impressionist, known for his impeccable accents and voices, as well as his blend of absurd and observational comedy.

Jack quickly made an early impression on the Scottish scene, winning the 2022 Glasgow International Comedy Festival Student Comedy Award.

Since then he has gone on to perform regularly at -
The Stand Comedy Club, Glasgow
The Stand Comedy Club, Edinburgh
The Stand Comedy Club, Newcastle
The Glee Club Glasgow

On top of this he has won Just One More Gong (Blackfriars Basement, Glasgow), Beat the Frog (Frog and Bucket Comedy Club, Manchester) and The Blackout (Up the Creek Comedy Club, London).

Jack’s 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe show “Impressionable” was funded by the Stand Comedy Club to showcase upcoming Scottish talent.
The show was longlisted for the ISH Edinburgh Comedy Awards for Best Newcomer and The List’s Best Comedy Show.

Headliner for the our Comedy and Dinner show on the 4th September is the fantastic CRAIG SPEIRS! 🎤

Craig Speirs is a Glasgow based comedian who has quickly established a presence on the Scottish comedy scene.

Speirs returns to Inverness fresh off the back of his Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut with his show “Problem Child” which he performed to sold out audiences.

As well as that, Craig was the Blackfriars Basement “Just One More Gong” Season One Champion.

David Stuart is an "effortlessly beautiful" Comedian, Lover and Fighter who has recently returned to Scotland after living in New Zealand for the last few years.

While over there he built a solid reputation in the comedy scene and will probably try to do the same here… eventually… when he can be arsed!

Tam Anderson is a regular performer around the Central Belt of Scotland.

The Dumbartonshire funnyman has performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the Glasgow International Comedy Festival, and Blackfriars Basement.

A familiar face on the highland comedy scene, Kieran has performed everywhere from Orkney to Ullapool!

In 2025, he featured on the “Stand Up for Mikeysline” comedy tour, celebrating 10 years of Mikeysline.
