Founded and hosted by Inverness actor / producer : Raw Acts is built for work in progress: shorts sets, first drafts, extracts, and songs that haven’t found their last chorus yet.

This is not a polished showcase and it isn’t an open mic-free-for-all. It’s a supportive, inclusive scratch night with accessibility and mental health in the design, not as an afterthought. ✨🎭

Come as audience. Come as artist. Come to see what the Highlands is making this week. Stay for the chat afterwards — the night is as much about connection as it is the stage. See you there!

Anything Can Be Performance Workshop with ! ✨🎭

Raw Acts in collaboration with InverNess Fringe Festival 🤩

Learn from Juliet Kelly: rooting in improvisation and using different types of stimuli (music, images, movement, words) and practitioner approaches, participants explore where the threads of ideas come from, and how they become sewn into stories, as they develop improvisational skills along the way.

You will even have the opportunity to perform part of the piece you have created in the WASPS Academy on the same day 6:45-9:45PM! 👀

Meet the Raw Acts Team 🎭

🎙️Caelan: Social Media Manager

Caelan is a Glasgow-based social media manager, content creator, performer, and fashion guru. Caelan has a strong passion in making arts and heritage more accessible to all via social media content. Caelan is originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee and spent 12 years as a musical theatre performer. He has 1st Class Honours in Fashion Management from Robert Gordon University. He has done a multitude of freelance social media work but most notably worked for Aberdeen Archives, Gallery, & Museums in which he was nominated for Intern of the Year through Aberdeen City Council. You may recognize his face from his following on Tik Tok (diaryofawimpygay). He is so excited to be on board with such an extraordinary team!

🎙️Alice: Assistant Producer

Alice is a Dundee-based producer, designer, and actor with a strong passion for storytelling and exploring the different ways stories can be told through interactive media. She has a background in drama and games, having completed an HNC in Acting and Performance at UHI Inverness. Recently, she earned a first-class degree in Games Design and Production. Alice has designed and produced multiple games, showcasing her solo and team projects at game festivals such as EGX and GIGF. Nominated for the Blazing Griffin Award for Narrative and Storytelling 2025, and DARE ACADEMNY Winner 2024. She is excited about the opportunity to return to theatre and support talent based in the Highlands.
