Wednesday 16th at The Tooth & Claw, Inverness. Hosted my none other than Stephen Clark! Stephen is THE premier host in the highlands and we are absolutely DELIGHTED to have him running the show.

Inverness... We have a bit of a surprise for you!
The Comedy Bothy is pleased to announce a last-minute free show THIS Friday. Down at our wonderful home The Tooth & Claw, Inverness.

The night is hosted by this years breakout highland comic Scott Fraser. Scott has made a huge impression on the scene since he joined last year. A fun blend of energy, wry observations and provocative crowd interactions. He will be keeping the night going for your enjoyment.

Kieran Lochore and his ever faithful guitar will be closing the show. Featuring a few selections from his upcoming InverNess Fringe Festival show "Fae Orkney Tae Oblivion". A mini sneak preview to get folk in a fringe-y mood! 😀

Also on the bill are a bunch of Bothy favourites -

Our very own man Friday... Mike Hendry. A Bothy simply wouldn't be a Bothy without this awesome highland LEGEND! His unique mix of surreal stories and high energy always gets the crowd going.

Cathy Cash will be opening the show with her very own witty brand of home-spun cheer and cheek. We can't wait to hear what she has been up to.

Reactive newcomer Jimmy William will be making his second appearance on our stage. Jimmy is fast gaining a reputation in the highlands for his charm and banter onstage. See him here first folks!

And last but not ever least... Adam McLeod! If you've been to a Bothy gig, or indeed a highland gig in the past three years you will be well familiar with the sardonic maestro of no-holds-barred comedic excellence.

8pm doors. Show starts around 8:30pm.

Fancy trying stand-up comedy?

Beginner’s Stand-Up Comedy Workshops with comedian Viv Gee are now down to just 7 remaining spaces.

These workshops are designed for beginners who want to give stand-up a go, build confidence, learn how to shape their own material and develop performance skills in a supportive setting.

Across the sessions, you’ll cover comedy writing, structure, stage persona, comic timing, microphone technique and performance skills.

The workshops take place across two weekends:

19 & 20 September
26 & 27 September
12pm – 3pm each day

Applicants must be able to attend all four sessions.

Workshop attendees will also have the opportunity to perform during Inverness Fringe Festival on 3 October.
