Hello everyone! ✨

The time has come for filming to start getting up and running for this project! Do you think you could be a piper who mysteriously disappears in the woods? Or what about a Fae Queen who brings two unsuspecting humans to the Fae world? Perhaps you would like the chance to be a fiddler, just trying to make some extra coin.

Last month I visited Urquhart Castle. The ruins of this castle sits on the edge of Loch Ness.

It was so lovely to wander around the ruins, imagining the life that was once there. You can even get right to the edge of the Loch. From peering into the murky depths it's not too much of a stretch to imagine seeing a flip of a fin or the glimpse of a head of the legendary Loch Ness Monster.

The Loch Ness Monster is such a well known story not just in Scotland but all over the world. I had to include it in one of the four stories I am retelling, slightly altering it to fit the setting of the Ness Islands.

Welcome to the page for The Island of Wandering Stories.

The Island of Wandering Stories is going to to be an audio walk around the Ness Islands in Inverness. On the walk you will hear stories based on myths and legends in Scotland, that I have retold to fit the setting of the Ness Islands.

On this page I will be documenting my progress of this creative journey. Giving you insight into what I am doing behind the scenes for this project, leading up to it's release later this year.
