Yet another new partner for this year's festival was the Inverness Royal British Legion Pipe band. Because marching is, of course, another form of walking.

Among the new partners for this year's festival is the Inverness Caledonian Thistle Trust. When we heard they staged walking football sessions at their new community hub we knew we had to invite them to be part of the fun.
