The Taming of the Shrew directed by Kath Mansfield, this year’s promenade production at Traquair House is shaping up nicely. “It is a fast-moving and funny play which is a joy to direct, there’s a lot of young talent on board”. Both Esmé Babineaux and Jasper Price are a delight to watch as Katherina and Petruchio. The entire cast are impressive with old and new faces working well together. Several cast members are from Borders Youth Theatre, bringing vibrant talent to our group says Kath.

There will be plenty of physical humour, a little audience involvement and a twist or two away from the traditional interpretation.
