Thanks to everyone who came to the Games Week pub quiz last night. 16 teams battled over 7 rounds of questions with it all coming down to a tie breaker.

Congratulations to ‘Binny McBinface’ who just edged out ‘Simple Minds’ into second, with ‘Guided by Voices’ in third.

We were delighted Standard Bearer Elect and Lass Ally and Emma took time out of their busy week to present the prizes, and we wish them all the very best. 🔵⚪️

After expenses we made £150 from entry fees, and planned to make a donation of £50 to St. Ronan's Border Games with the rest for prizes, however all three winning teams generously donated their prizes to the Games as well, so we will be handing over £150 today. 🙌

The Games Week Quiz is now officially Sold Out. Thank you to all the teams who have registered for this event, we look forward to seeing you at 7:30 for an 8:00pm sharp start next Wednesday.

856’s Worshipful Junior Warden Stewart Wilson met with this years Dux Boy/St. Ronan Moray Caine tonight to explain the Masonic Ceremony and hopefully help demystify this touching and mysterious part of Games Week. 🕊️

This is the fourth consecutive year the lodge has met with the young man chosen to portray the saint and it’s a great pleasure to share the legend, the story and practicalities of the ceremony ahead of the big week.

Thank you Moray for listening so attentively and to mum and dad, Ex-Standard Bearer and Lass Gregor and Sandi, for being so welcoming. Have a wonderful Games when it comes. On, St. Ronan’s, On!
