Its been a long time coming but Ilkley Soul Club is back on Sunday 28 November at the Hollygarth, Leeds Road, Ilkley, LS29 8LY. As usual its an original vinyl ony event with lots of Soul to Dance to - northern, 60's club, Motown & 70's.

Our special guest is Phil Dick who joins the usual spinners Keith Hudson, Ian Smith and Daniel Steel.

Wooden dancefloor, comfortable lounge setting, reasonably priced bar & ample parking. Nearest stations Ben Rhydding & Ilkley on Bradford & Leeds lines.

3 til' 9pm £5 OTD.

Surprise, surprise - there will be no Ilkley Soul Club on Sunday 27 September.

The Hollygarth has confirmed that they cannot have a gathering of over 30, allow social bubbles of >6, nor allow dancing and the playing of loud music under government guidelines. So, sadly, another one bites the dust.

Ilkley Soul Club shall resume when we get the go ahead from the Hollygarth and we feel it is safe to do so.

The next one is scheduled for Sunday 29 November and although this looks unlikely we will review it nearer the date.

The next Ilkley Soul Club which was scheduled for Saturday 25 July is cancelled! Sorry for any inconvenience and disapointment.

The Hollygarth is open for business again but we have decided to cancel the event for 3 reasons: 1) The Club is using the Function room as a members' socially distanced bar area; 2) The Government Guidelines seem to discourage the playing of loud music as it encourages people to shout which apparently spreads the virus and 3) We think the limit on unconnected social gatherings is 30 and limiting capacity to this number would not be viable or make for as good an evening.

Rest assured that as soon as it can Ilkley Soul Club will return! The next one is scheduled for Sunday 27 September so watch this space.
