Monthly Solemn Nights Atelier Membership – £80 per month

Finally finished auspicious beasts leg sleeve. We started this a couple of years ago in Bristol and she fully committed to such a huge project!

Every Wednesday, 5–8pm, the Atelier opens its doors for three hours of independent studio practice, creativity and good company.

Study from the classical still life and plaster casts, share ideas, meet other artists and enjoy being part of a growing creative community.

Whether you’re a complete beginner, returning to art or an experienced artist, you’re welcome.

This isn’t just about coming along to draw or paint.

🎨 THE FIRST OPEN ATELIER SESSION

Our very first Solemn Nights Atelier Open Session was a great night — good artistic creativity, good company, great music and most importantly, the beginning of a fantastic community of artists.

It was brilliant seeing everyone working alongside each other, sharing ideas, practising their craft and simply enjoying being in a studio environment.

And this is only the beginning.

Whether you’re a complete beginner, returning to art or an experienced artist, you’re welcome at the Solemn Nights Atelier.

Come along, bring your materials or purchase from the studio and take inspiration from the studio setups.

After months of planning, collecting materials and building the studio, the first Solemn Nights Atelier session begins tonight.

Every Wednesday | 5:00pm–8:00pm
📍 Ilkeston, Derbyshire

Three hours of independent studio practice inspired by the traditional European atelier, working from classical still life and plaster casts in a relaxed, focused environment.

Whether you’re completely new to drawing or an experienced artist, you’re welcome.

🍂 THE AUTUMN UPDATE - SOLEMN NIGHTS IS GROWING!

What started as a vision for Solemn Nights Tattoo & Fine Art is really starting to take shape and I wanted to share what’s happening behind the scenes.

🔥 TATTOOING
The diary is stacking up with appointments now booking into October & November, and the work coming through the studio is getting bigger, bolder and more ambitious.

🎨 THE ATELIER
Our new Open Atelier launches in September, and it’s already attracting artists who want a dedicated space to create, learn and develop their work.

There are still spaces available for artists who want to become part of it.

🖌️ ART SUPPLIES
As the Atelier grows, we’ll soon be introducing premium art supplies and materials for artists and students.

📚 WORKSHOPS & COURSES
Fine art workshops and structured courses are also currently in development with plenty more to come.

And behind all of this, the studio’s apprentice is progressing brilliantly. Watching the next generation develop within the studio is something I’m genuinely proud of.

This is only the beginning.

Solemn Nights isn’t just growing as a tattoo studio, it’s becoming a place for artists, creativity and fine art to thrive.
