The Sky Dry, at the edge of the village, is a tall lattice tower made entirely from wood (so as not to attract the ravenous metal fly) where cars, people who have just had a wash, pets, laundry and crops can be hoisted above the clouds to get nice and dry on those overcast and damp days. Also it's nice to be out in the sun for an hour or two.

When Kimchi production was nationalised, the national Kimchi Facility was built on a hill to the East of the village. Here we see the morning commute to the facility to make this delicious fermented foodstuff. It's a popular place to work because of the 3 1/2 day week and because everyone gets a lifetime supply of kimchi.

As well as the excitement of having rockets nearby in Barton in the Beans, the English Space Agency built the Experimental Rural Transport Network, reaching all the way from Market Bosworth to Theddingworth. Here we see the first underground train of the evening which follows a great arc beneath the forest, also stopping at Barton in the Beans, and Newbold Verdon. Some of the settlements on the line are only accessible by these underground trains, having no roads or pathways to them other than little tracks through forests, between tall ferns, such as the Secret Bunker at Peartree Wood.
