HURSTfolk. NEEDS YOUR HELP
Over the past year, we’ve put a huge amount of blood, sweat and tears into trying to find the money to get HURSTfolk. running again in 2027.
We’ve applied for a number of significant funding pots and, despite exhaustive efforts, so far we’ve been knocked back.
HURSTfolk. was never designed to make a profit. We keep ticket prices extremely low, offer lots of events for free and try to make the festival something everyone can be part of. But that means we simply can’t run it without external funding.
We’re still looking. We’re still applying. We haven’t given up. But right now, we don’t have the funding we need for HURSTfolk. 2027.
So we REALLY need your help with this one.
HURSTfolk. is currently part of the Co-op Local Community Fund. If you’re a Co-op Member, you can select HURSTfolk. as your local cause — and the more people who select us and scan their membership card when they shop, the more funding we can receive.
And we only have until 17 OCTOBER.
So please:
→ Open your Co-op app and select HURSTfolk. as your cause
→ Scan your membership card EVERY time you shop
→ Ask your friends and family to do the same
We have a brilliant Co-op right in the heart of Hurstpierpoint. If enough of us get behind this for the final few weeks, all those little scans could add up to something that makes a very big difference.
