Happy Friday
Ok so I finished a customer order for a lovely customer of a lighter weight sunset shawl.. the lighter yarn did bring more muted tones compared with the Aran version.
I also finished a peacock scarf that sold straight away, so I’ve wrapped up parcels and will head too the post office shortly.
I have two other shawls on started and another order to make up. Oh and I did some festive needle felt work, photos coming soon.
I honestly can’t thank you enough for the support it’s what’s makes this all worth while.

The other day before the wet weather arrived I took some photos of these tiny mushrooms that are on a log 🪵 they are just so perfect i had to photograph them. I love taking photos of nature and my work.
Talking work this Cacoon cards is over on my website, this particular one is 100% wool so not for everyone I know but it’s honestly lovely.
I personally love this style as it’s just spot on to pop on over a top to add a cosy layer.
Today is a busy one but I’m hoping to finish off a scarf, needle felt and start a order 🙈 oh and try and sort though my fabric stash 🙈🙈

Hello Wednesday .. feel a little meh today as I’m full of cold which is making me wanting to sort out!
This year has been such a mixed bag in every aspect especially with running barking mad.
The year started off crazy busy with my shawl orders and kept busy even when I needed to close my order books.
Not doing any events has sort of been nice, not packing and unpacking cars etc but I do miss them. Being able to show my creations in real life can make a difference.
But despite this I’m struggling to be seen which makes me feel like I’m here but not.. I know lots of other small businesses are feeling the same.
This is my window to my makes to what I do.
On that note I’ve reduced three cardigans this morning over on my website. Why not pop over and take a nosey.
Do I make more cardigans? I don’t know? What would you like to see me make?

Happy Tuesday
I’m about to head home after a cheeky restful night away with my daughter in Dundee, although I’m ready to be home again just now.
I’ve finished another of my lightweight under jacket shawls in Pretty in Pinks which is now over in my website.
Once home I’ll be working away on a couple of orders and I must start some needle work pieces.. I’ve just brought some lovely accessories to work with.

No walks to share today as I’m having a very chilled weekend but I did finish off the scarf I was working on
This is my Changing Leaves scarf in such pretty colours. A beautiful design which will look stylish yet cosy at the same time.
I’ve already got my next make on the hook as well as a couple of orders to get made up over the next week so plenty to keep me occupied.

Happy Saturday
Yesterday was a complete stop day after a brief break from my morning walk we then headed out as a family to another beach spot we love for a coffee ☕️
I did do a little bit of crochet on the evening but I must admit I’m feeling very behind with makes, festive makes 🙈 I’ve not even started but then I’m not attend any events so I’m telling myself there’s no pressure.
The website has plenty on it still with blankets, cardigans and a few shawls. Please pop over for a nosey, please note I only selling my makes not patterns. I put a lot of research into my makes and the yarns I like to use before I even get started on anything else.
I know my posts aren’t getting seen as well as they use to it’s a tough thing bring a small independent business. 🩷🐾

Hello ☺️
Only just here after a lovely, if not very early morning walk with my hubby. It was chilly but beautiful with the sun rising as we walked along a coastal path.
I definitely could have done with an under jacket shawl it would have just been spot on to keep me warm and stop the wind.
I finished off another last night in more softer times it just reminds me of sand at the beach.

Some days you get a little act of kindness arrive by post ✉️ this is the most thoughtful gift from Sue of Cat-knit creations., a beautiful knitted positive pebble inspired by one of my favourite views and the cutest little hat which I think will go on my Christmas tree this year.

Happy Wednesday
Not much happening here just now although I’ve lots to do, my list is long, very long..but I can only make as fast as I can make.
I’ve just popped two more of my new under jacket shawls onto the website, a repeat of the Sea Breeze colour and a new colour which I’ve named Sunset.
Yes I’m addicted to making these and have another on the hook already but today as I head off to an appointment I’ll be taking a leaf scarf with me to mix it up a bit 🍂
