Happy Monday
The suns shining and after a busy morning of driving I can now chill out at home for a bit.
Yesterday I completed a very special commission for a customer.
I don’t often take woven orders but I couldn’t say no too this one, even though I’ve been very nervous about it.
I got asked if i could make a scarf/shawl too match up a tartan for a very special occasion later this year. I went as close as I could too the design without breaching any copyrights.
I’m delighted with the results and even more delighted I have permission too share it with you all.

How is it Sunday again already?
I was going to show you what I popped on my hook yesterday but instead I decided I’d take my Seaview cardigan outside for a model opportunity in the garden.
I thought it needed fresh photos to highlight the gorgeous colours and whilst the sun was shining it was perfect.
This is such a comfy cosy cardigan maybe not what you need though the summer but we do still get chilly days.
It’s available over on my website with a few other makes. As I’m not at events just now this is the only place I can show case my work.

Happy Saturday
Yesterday we took some time out which was much needed. As my last post we started at The Portsoy Gift Box where I dropped a few new bits off at, we then headed to The New Denver and picked up a few munchies as well as a gorgeous smoothie before sitting at the sea 🌊 for a while to rest.
Once home I decided to complete another project, this was going to be for me but unfortunately due to a change in body shape it just doesn’t look right so you guys have the chance to own it.
It’s a pretty top with a very flattening neckline made using a soft acrylic yarn. I’ve put thd sizes on my website.

Happy Friday
I’m getting though a few pieces that I want to finish just now. This shawl came with me when I started my first treatment so it was nice to finally pick it back up over the past few days and finish it off.
Underwater rainbow proved to be a popular choice when I worked though my orders at the start of the year.
I’ll get another colour on the hook maybe later but I do have another project to finish and I may just start making squares for another large blanket.

Happy Thursday everyone
So it’s no secret I love creating and crafting, I have done for as long as I remember.
I’ve a couple of crochet projects on the go just now but yesterday I decided to finish off a needle felted piece I’d started.
This little cutie will be heading over to The Portsoy Gift Box soon with the whale from last week.
I find needle felting very therapeutic, I have a couple more makes in my head so might start one later so I sit and rest up,

Such a mixed bag of a day definitely summertime showers ☔️
I was delighted to finish off this little cushion this morning.
It’s been a while since I’ve made one up, and I really enjoyed bringing this one together.
It’s only 12” square but would add a touch of brightness to any space.

A day late I know but I thought I’d show up again. I’m still here just not in such a full on manor as usual.
Yesterday was in the fact the first day I picked up the crochet hook since last Tuesday, I’ve got a couple of different projects to work on but I’ve chosen something fairly simple just now.
This is probably how I see the next few months being, sadly barking mad is taking a slightly back seat whilst I concentrate on my heath 🩷

Hope you all had a ‘whale’ of a time over the bank holiday weekend and not suffering too much from the heat if your further south then us here.
Just a fun little needle felted piece to try and get me back into it.
This little chap will be heading over to The Portsoy Gift Box at some point, I just need to try and finish a coo.

So the little glimpse I gave you this morning of my crochet is now off the hook, I didn’t have much left to do on it today so was pretty determined to finish it.
Just a classic baby blanket in cream, it’s been a while since I’ve made a blanket, they’re always one of my favourites to put on the hook I must admit.
