Today, I finally managed to get my Halloween window display done 🎃

It's just my usual, non-scary pumpkin patch. I do pretty much the same each year basically because I like the mix of oranges, reds and purples. This year, I've added in some blue too 🍂

Our witch is wearing a blue bobble hat ... why? Because this is Scotland and it's cold and she didn't want her favourite pointy hat to sag in all this rain! Sensible lady! 🧙‍♀️

The neeps are back! 🙌

Muriel's famous giant neeps are back but they're not in their usual pink bucket; they're trying out a grey one instead. But we're sure they'll taste just as fine 😋

Three lorry deliveries today - phewee! 🚚 🚚 🚚 📦 📦 📦

Lots of you ask what we do with the empty plastic bottles that we refill your favourite things from 🤔

Well, they get returned to the wholesaler that we got them from ♻️

Today, all of these empties went back on the Suma lorry. They will sterilise them, refill them and send them back out to shops like ours so that we can keep refilling your bottles♻️

It's called circular recycling ♻️🌎👍😉

We learned today that we'd been the subject of a quiz question!

A lady came in to say that one of the questions in a local quiz had been "What is the current number of refills that we had done?" give or take 100 either way.

The lady was delighted to say she was able to quote the number dead on as she had passed our shop on the way to the quiz and looked in the window where it is always displayed!

Imagine that; us being a quiz question! Fame has reached us at last!

I have been working on our website, so it is a bit more up-to-date 👩‍💻

Today a lovely lady from the council popped in and presented us with our Heart of The High Street Award certificate which Stan was very happy to accept 🦜
