It's time to introduce the unlikely hero of our pantomime, Flynn Bouffant - local lad, hair sweeper-upper, and horse enthusiast.

Taking on the role of Flynn as he seeks his destiny and tries his hand at rescuing the long-lost Princess of Huntly is Aurora newcomer Joshua Rees.

Joshua is enjoying his first pantomime experience. He says, "I like playing Flynn because I'm a core part of the story, and pretty awesome 💪. I'm finding reahersals enjoyble because I'm new to Aurora, and I learn something new every week."

Will Flynn save the princess Rapunzel from being trapped in her tower, or is he destined to work in his mum's hair salon forever? Buy your tickets now to find out! Rapunzel runs from 24-28 November at the Stewart's Hall, Huntly.

🎺 Presenting their Royal Highnesses, the King and Queen of Huntly! 👑✨

In our upcoming pantomime (24–28 November at Stewart's Hall, Huntly), the noble rulers of Huntly will be brought to life by David Gibbs-Smith and Jenny Cameron. Rapunzel's poor parents have their daughter stolen by the wicked witch, Gothel, when she is just a baby, and spend the next 18 years searching for her.

Jenny says, "The King and Queen lost their little girl a long time ago, but are still holding on to the hope that Rapunzel will find her way back to the royal family."

Thankfully, David and Jenny are having a lot more fun rehearsing for the show than their characters have in it!

"Everyone in the cast is so different, but we all get on really well and have a laugh every week when we rehearse," says David.

And they are sure that audiences are going to have a great time too. Jenny explains, "This show is a great take on an often underrated fairytale! The jokes are hilarious, and the music is fantastic."

David adds, "Everyone will find something they love, from all-singing, all-dancing numbers to more stupid jokes than you could possibly imagine — there’s nothing quite like an Aurora panto!"

Will the King and Queen finally be reunited with their long-lost daughter, or will Gothel's evil plot succeed? Get your tickets today to find out!

This is Hayden's first Aurora panto, and she is loving every minute of bringing this naive but very sassy princess to life. She says, "I'm really enjoy playing this character because ever since I was a child, I’ve adored Rapunzel’s story, her humour, and her personality.
