In our wonderful 15th celebration year we look forward to bringing the Hair-raising and Hair-larious pantomime Rapunzel to the Stewarts Hall from the 24th to the 28th November!
Auditions are on the 2nd July so get practising your best weave puns and come join us!
Age 12+, no experience necessary!

You haven’t just brought incredible music and theatre to our audiences - you’ve given our cast and choir a place to sing, perform, and belong. For this , we want to give a massive shout-out to the incredible team at Granite City Events! For the last 15 years, they’ve kept Aurora looking and sounding absolutely spectacular with top-tier staging, lighting, and sound.

A special, extra-loud thank you goes to their sound tech, Graeme. Over the years, Graeme has become just as much a part of the Aurora family as any of our cast and crew. We love you, Graeme!

Over the last couple of weeks, we've been celebrating the success of Aurora alumni, as we look back on the last 15 years. This week we are turning the spotlight on Andrew Swarbrigg, who is proof that some of the biggest successes in theatre happen behind the scenes!

Since 2021, Andrew has been touring the country (and now the globe!) as an Assistant Stage Manager for some of the world's biggest musicals - Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Sister Act and Wicked. He is currently working on the World tour of Moulin Rouge!

Andrew first stepped onto the Aurora stage for a 24-Hour Musical, but he soon realized his true passion was running the show from the wings. He joined our crew, and became an integral part of our backstage team. We are so incredibly proud of his success and can't wait to see where his talents take him next!
