Fun fact: Malikey was inspired to write this piece by the wild, untamed waves of the ocean hitting the coast of Portugal. It’s a musical metaphor for the intense feelings and hidden mysteries we carry within us.

For a peaceful Friday evening... ✨ My cover of "Eden" by hania rani – a brilliant contemporary Polish pianist and composer who is taking global stages by storm (and has just been invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to help vote for the Oscars! 👑).

I spent some time tweaking the settings on my Yamaha Clavinova CLP-845, modifying the resonance parameters to capture that mesmerizing, original vibe as closely as possible. Though I’m sure there’s still room for improvement.

Put your headphones on, close your eyes, and drift away for a moment. This performance is dedicated to everyone looking for a little respite tonight. 🎹🎧
