From September our Saturday Art Club will resume at our garden studio in Godmanchester. We switch up our projects fortnightly and this terms theme is 3D Art, we’ll look at 3 different artists who will be a springboard of inspiration, then go on to explore sculpture with Modroc, paper engineering and looking at how to use paint to create a 3D effect. One of my favourite parts of my job is coming up with ideas that develop in the workshops for our regular classes. From September we’ll be running 2 Home Ed classes for 2 different age groups, both at our garden studio in Godmanchester. The KS3 group will be exploring mixed media over the course of the term, learning how to create texture, using found objects in their work, stitching items together, and developing their illustration skills. The KS2 group will be exploring artists like Basquiat &Warhol, taking a look at cubism, creating pixel portraits and more, all while using a variety of materials. From September we're delighted to be reintroducing our KS2 Home Education Art Workshops for 7–11 year olds. These sessions will run on Fridays, 10.15am–11.15am, with a new creative project every fortnight.

Our KS3 Home Education Art Workshops for 11–16 year olds will continue on Wednesdays, 10.00am–11.15am. During each half term we develop a larger project over six weeks, allowing students to explore ideas in greater depth while building their artistic skills and confidence.
