Available To Hire..... Q Snap Floor Quilting Frame. Light weight and easy to put together (no tools required). Suitable for hand quilting large projects without having to have the full weight of a quilt on your lap. £5 per week hire, plus £20 deposit. (please note...... hand quilter not supplied with frame!!!!!!) 😉

We're coming to the end of our charity block hand in (August 31st) so if you still have any half done, or want to make a couple more please let us have them in the next 10 days or so, to give us chance to make them into lap quilts. Many many many thanks to those of you who have already made 1, 2 or 25 blocks, we are so very grateful, we are currently up to 12 made or part made quilts which means 192 finished blocks from you and still have more to go. Thank you x

It's soon time for our 'show and tell exhibition' on Saturday 11 July 10 am to 3pm. We will be accepting your beautiful works of art ready for display from Tuesday 7 July so please feel free to bring them in with your name attached to the item/bag in good time.

Have you seen this? King Cole's wonderful knitting pattern booklet for Pirates and Mermaids is on sale and we are sooooo grateful to the wonderful Jenny who has knitted up our display sample for us. We hope she had as much fun knitting it as we get out of looking at all the amazing little details. Thank you Jenny x

We have 3 VERY different workshops coming up in the next few weeks that we hope will be of interest to you.
Saturday 23rd May - Kathleen Laurel Sage will be back with us teaching beautiful Sequin Embroidery.
Friday 29th May - Polly is helping you through the tricky stages of accurate patchwork blocks.
Friday 5th June - Maddie will be teaching you how to make a sewing machine mat with pockets, a very useful item.
