Ooh it’s getting exciting now! We are busy in our little Tipi getting it all ready for you 👏 it will be fabulous to see you in our ‘Happy Place’ 😊
Such a great event the Huddersfield Literature Festival it’s amazing how much hard work goes into creating something for everyone to enjoy.

Our Tipi launch party is happening this Wednesday at Lawrence Batley Theatre from 5-10pm and we're doing a competition for the best Game of Thrones costume! Will you be the mother of dragons, the King in the North, or a Lannister? The winner will receive a book bundle!

There will be a performance by Soul Choir, an inclusive local choir that sings classic soul along with a dash of blues and gospel; AND at 7pm, a special performance from Huddersfield rapper, musician and youth music workshop founder Joel Simmy, who has worked with Huddersfield Town Foundation, performed in London and across the north, and been featured on BBC Radio 1Xtra, Capital Xtra and Kiss Fresh FM.

The Tipi is brought to the town in partnership with Huddersfield Live and we are delighted that the Tipi will be sponsored by Huddersfield Town AFC.

Did you miss us last Winter? We missed you!

We are so excited to be bringing our little Tipi to the wonderful Huddersfield Literature Festival this year - open to EVERYONE to pop in, enjoy a beer or two, a coffee and enjoy a programme of events from 17th - 28th April including Children's workshops, poetry readings, open mic nights, live music, book launches and well-being activities. We have a few slots left if you are interested in being part of the event.
