[IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT]

HUDPoker Society is no longer affiliated with University of Huddersfield Students' Union and therefore will become a civilian platform available to Anybody and Everybody interested in the game of Poker! This means you are no longer required to be a student to join HUDPoker Society.

This year, HUDPoker Society will be undergoing minor changes and updates to coincide with this new offering and all updates will be communicated (when necessary, via this page, so please like and remain updated.

If you feel you want to help out on our (to be appointed) committee, then please feel free to send us a private message to get the details of what this entails.

In the meantime, Please bare with us while we make the necessary changes to our marketing materials and physical platform, that will make this Society available to Everyone!

We thank you for your patience and will update you when we return as the best Poker Society in Huddersfield and the West Yorkshire region! We have much planned and rely on our committee and members to make this possible!

[HUDPoker Society Updates #001- 30-01-15]

Hello and welcome all to HUDPoker Society,

For those of you that are not aware, it is our intention to form a weekly poker meeting at Grosvenor Casinos Huddersfield each Thursday from 6pm where you will be able to meet, learn, play, compete and have fun playing Texas Hold’em Poker.

It is with great pleasure that I thank everybody who took part in our Re:freshers stall and would like to congratulate all of you lucky winners that won on the day, your passes will be emailed to you as soon as our launch date has been confirmed. I would just like to mention that the student picking the winning Ace Diamond Flush during our Promotion at Refreshers’ should tweet the picture he took to using so that he can be identified as he has won a FREE ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP to HUDPoker Society. A very big well done to you too!

Now, as you may have heard, it is our intention to begin meetings from February 19th 2015, this is a preliminary date needing to be confirmed by Grosvenor Casinos and as soon as that or another date is confirmed, I will be sending out another email to inform you guys of when this date will be. In the meantime, I would hope that you will (unless you have already done so) register your FREE taster session here > http://bit.ly/hudpokertaster - this will give you priority over any subsequent registrations as we have to limit Give it a Go players to just 5 per week.
