MOB Sound System

MOB Sound System 8 KW bass heavy sound system located in the Huddersfield area and available for hire for all parties and occasions, large or small.

System designed with scalability in mind and we can easily drop down to 2 KW of discreet sound and still provide a high quality bass heavy vibe on the micro version of the rig - the Mini-MOB

Always up for a party and looking for the next place to roll out the speakers and make some noise - usually out and about in a field in the Summer, and the darker and more underground the venue the better in

Winter ;-)

Primarily a Bass orientated rig, playing Drum n Bass, Dubstep, Jungle, Bassline and Dub... but with a wide network of affiliations you can expect to hear all manner of electronica at a MOB party - from Ghetto-Funk to Breakcore, from Fidget House to Purist Techno.... and pretty much every genre in between!! These days regularly supplying the sounds at Junglism at Bar 1:22, as well as at our own parties and at linkups in the stix with the YTP crew... in the past you may have caught us hosting The Black Hole at Summer Saturnalia festival, or regularly at Huddersfield club nights Inish*tive, Suburbia, Summin Diffr3nt, Liquid and YesTechno... or at any number of one off gigs along the way! Full rig consists of 4400W of Fane Sub-Bass, 1200W of Fane Kick-Bass, 1600W upper mid-range speakers and 500W of Tweeters and Horns (+ 300W DJ monitors). Marquee shipped out en route to a field near Skipton... Rig to follow tomorrow.... Private party this weekend then on to unity day next week.... Two gigs in two weeks.... What's going on lol! It's almost like we're active again haha!

Just got some graphic work to do and get signed off before we announce our headliner for April 8th @ The Parish... All saying for now is that he's one of the UKs biggest names in his genre who hasn't played in Hudds for a good ten years. Very excited :)

Rest of lineups looking sick too :) support from Fractal, Junglism and MOB crew in the place.

Ez all... We've been quiet for a while but a big announcement to come in a couple of weekd.... Getting the full MOB sound system out in Hudds for the only time this year... Saturday 8th April @ The Parish... With a true legend of the scene in town to grace the decks... Someone wanted to book for a very long time :) well looking fwd to this one!!

2nd time with the speakers in a cricket club in space of a few weeks tomorrow night... are cricket clubs the new thing?... well I say new... who's old enough on here to remember good times and zone nights at the cricketers in Wigan? Such good night's had there bk in't day :) private party tomorrow night but if any of the crew up for a night of bass n beats then drop us a msg for details
