I cannot express how proud I am of our Golcar Maxis who performed yesterday at the choir festival. You were all incredible! Not only was your singing outstanding, the support and encouragement you showed each other was unbelievable. Thank you for a wonderful day 💗

Meet the team 🌟

Emma graduated in 1996 and has since worked up and down the country in theatre, film, TV, and radio. TV credits include Emmerdale, Coronation Street, Heartbeat, The Royal, The Syndicate, Fat Friends, Love, Lies and Records, Paradox, Doctors, North and South, Playing The Field, North Square, The Quest and Hollyoaks.
Emma opened True Talent almost 5 years ago with the hope of offering fantastic and fun training in the performing arts, within a positive, encouraging and supportive environment.
Emma absolutely loves spending Saturdays with our amazing, talented, lovely young people 🌟

Meet the team 🌟

Nikki started performing in musicals at the age of 13. She trained at Bretton Hall graduating in 1996. She has performed on stage and screen and has recently appeared in Emmerdale. Nikki has worked with many well known actors, Emma Mackey, Oliver Jackson Cohen, David Jason, Martin Shaw, Niamh Cussack and many more. With over 20 years experience of teaching she is passionate about creating fun and engaging activities in classes and inspiring others to achieve.

Meet the team 🌟

Jazz has been dancing since she was 18 months old. Over the years she has performed in numerous shows throughout the UK including Joseph and his Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Wizard of Oz, The King and I and Matilda.
She also attended the Junior Associate programme at SLP Dance College in Garforth.

Jazz graduated in 2016 from Phil Winston’s TheatreWorks in Blackpool after completing a 3 Year Vocational Dance and Musical Theatre Course.

She has since gone on to work at Lapland UK and in Kos at the 5* Mitsis Complex as Head Choreographer, Dancer and Singer.

Jazz works as a Freelance Dance Teacher around the UK, choreographing show performances and competition routines.

She absolutely loves teaching at True Talent and always looks forward to Saturdays with you all!

Meet the team 🌟

Daniel is a professional Actor, Singer and Musician with a strong background in dance.
He trained at The Guildford School of Acting and has since been in none stop work around the country and parts of Europe.
Some of his notable credits include the UK Tour of 'Dreamboats and Miniskirts' with Bill Kenwright Ltd and 'Grease the Musical' with BKCP Productions. He has also been the Drummer for Huddersfield's Lawrence Batley Theatre’s professional pantomimes since they began.
Daniel is currently a primary school teacher and is also very proud to teach at True Talent Theatre School and pass on his knowledge to our students.

Lucy is a professional Performing Arts Teacher, trained Dancer and Musician. She teaches piano, singing, dance and drama in schools in Kirklees.

Her motto inspire, educate, create is at the foundation of her teaching and she brings this to the True Talent Theatre School as a proud member of the team.

Meet the team 🌟

Alex is a multi-award-winning actor and drama teacher. He has toured all over the world in a number of large scale theatre productions including The National Theatre's WarHorse for two years. Alex has taught a number of puppetry, physical theatre and page2stage workshops in theatres and is currenty developing his sixth production for young audiences for Thunder Road Theatre Company. Alex loves being part of the True Talent team and is incredibly passionate about making each lesson both engaging and entertaining for every child involved.
